Welcome to our web site!

I would like to take a moment and thank you for your open heart and desire to seek after Christ. As we are told, "Seek and ye shall find..." (Luke 11:9). It is only in seeking after Christ that we shall find what is pleasing to Him.

To introduce ourselves, the Glass Street church of Christ is not Protestant, Catholic, or Jewish. We are not a denomination or inter-denominational. We are simply Christians assembling together to follow after Christ under His rules as reveled in the bible. Nothing more, nothing less. It is our sole purpose to be members of the church built upon the blood of Christ Jesus as established in the first century. For that reason, we do not have, nor follow after, any man-made creed but rather only use the inspired Word of God as our doctrine.

You will find, we are not a "social/recreation club" seeking to entertain its members like many religions today. The church is a spiritual institution existing "in order that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church..." (Eph. 3:10). Therefore, the Glass Street church of Christ continually strives to believe, practice and teach only what the bible instructs. It is only through the scriptures that we can find how to become complete (II Tim. 3:17)

Our primary concern is with the spiritual needs of each man and woman in this area-their needs for God, for forgiveness of their sins, for genuine God-pleasing worship, and for pure lives that are in accordance to God's Word. We sincerely invite you to make an honest investigation of Christ's church in this community.
